We are 11 days away from meeting Teapot, and it’s starting to feel like Noah’s Ark around here – 2 kids, 2 kid beds, 2 of everything (actually, it’s not that bad, but you get the idea). One thing that we also have is 2 cars since the subway conveniently stops at the doorstep of our town. I have a Subaru Forester to do all my mom stuff in, and my husband has a Mini Cooper S since he spends most of his time in and out of the city. I should mention here that my husband LOVES his Mini – … Continue reading →

Last week I had the opportunity to learn more about the Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 that was recently launched through an event hosted by Charlene of Charlene Chronicles. What a great opportunity for a newer blogger such as myself to spend the evening learning about a great new baby product with a bunch of new and expectant moms. I should also mention it was held at a MiniLuxe spa so I was also treated to a manicure – whoo-hoo! Here we are, learning about the product: I am familiar with the line of Graco SnugRide car seats since that’s what we … Continue reading →

Umbrella strollers are fabulous, except for their sometimes lack of storage. We chose the Bugaboo stroller for Peep and will continue to use it for Teapot since we loved it. But it’s not always the most convenient to travel with (especially via plane), so we also have a Chicco Umbrella Stroller which came in handy quite often. The thing I found most frustrating about the umbrella stroller, was there was no place to put stuff. The storage below could really only fit a few things, and if you hung too much on the sides, it became very tippy. There are lots … Continue reading →

The little red wagon is a quintessential childhood mode of transportation. However, they’re really huge to have in your house and store when not in use. But did you know that there are folding red wagons? The one in the pictures is from Easy Go Wagons. When open, it’s main compartment dimensions are 33 X 17 X 10″ (LxWxD) but when it’s folded up, it shrinks down to 32 X 24 X 11″ (LxWxD). It is on the heavy side – 30 lbs so if you live where you will need to haul it up stairs, it may be difficult. … Continue reading →

We braved the crowds (and the early rain) to go gaze at the tall ships in Boston Harbor and happened to find an isolated and people free look-out. We didn’t last long after this picture and left the crowds to have low-key fun with friends for the rest of the day. What did you do???
